So here we are, 2010. Wow! Pretty crazy...Where does the time go. I'm excited for all my 2010 weddings. I can't wait to help preserve and document more memories and special days for people.
2009 was a crazy year for both T-Star Productions and myself. Not only was I busy capturing and lovingly documenting my clients big days but I was married myself this year, on beautiful sunny December 12. Talk about hectic!! You would think it would be easy for me to plan my own wedding since I'm surrounded by weddings all year long but no I think it was even more difficult because I saw so many great ideas.
I have a new appreciation and respect for all my brides now. The stress and anxiety over your wedding can be almost unbearable. But my words of wisdom are, when the big day finally comes relax and enjoy yourself!! It goes by so fast and all you"ll have the next day is memories, photos, and of course your video!

Also, my husband Anthony has official come on board at T-Star. He has always helped out in the background but now will be in charge of customer service, sales, and editing. So excited to have him working with me!

I want to thank everyone for all their help this year as well as a big thank you to all my clients for their patience! So ready to get 2010 Kicking!!

Just a note: T-Star's offices will be closed January 9-19th with almost no access to voice messages and limited access to emails as we will be out of the country. (Honeymoon time for me!!)
We will return all messages as soon as possible.

On May 24 I had the awesome opportunity to film Katherine and Dan Howard's wedding. I was contacted by the amazing and talented Carmela Savioli of Style Nine Events, to capture Katherine and Dan's special day. She told it would be a wedding like no other and she was totally right.

Their wedding was unique and special in every sense of the word. Complete with a unity Juggle and an "official" Facebook Staus update, as well as lots of juggling!! Katherine told me she just wanted her wedding to be fun.... and something people would remember and talk about forever. She accomplished just that.

A little rain can't spoil your wedding day!

Alright, so I finally found a minute to up date our blog. Lots has been going on here a T-Sar. Besides keeping busy with our packed wedding season we've expanded to producing construction videos. An awesome opportunity for us and a great chance (excuse) to buy fun new toys, like our new camera car mount system. It's pretty awesome.

But back to my favorite part of my job .... the weddings.

On May 16 we shot the wedding of Colleen and Mike. What a fantastic duo, with amazing smiles!! Colleen is a dentist in the Cleveland area and let me tell you their bridal party was full of the best smiles I have ever seen.

Their day started out with sunshine and perfect weather but eventually clouded over. That didn't spoil their day though and we were still able to hit up the Cleveland Botanical Gardens for some great photos! I recommend the Botanical Gardens to anyone who wants gorgeous photos location.

Colleen and Mike got married at St. Anthony's of Padua in Parma and then had their reception at the Hilton Garden Inn, in downtown Cleveland. I highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn. Their staff was extremely accommodating.

Congrats to Colleen and Mike you had a beautiful day!

April Showers bring May Flowers.....

I don't know about you but I'm ready to skip right to July weather. We need some sunshine and warm days!!

Something I like to do on gloomy Days like today is look back on some of my favorite summer weddings. It helps me to remember that the sunshine isn't too far away.

One of my favorite summer weddings was last July , Kate and Mike. They were such a sweet couple. The ceremony was at beautiful St. Coleman;s church , now closed :( , and Moreland mansion. Anyone thinking of having a summer wedding, I highly recommend Moreland.

I'd like to thank all those brave brides who came out today to the Todays Bride Bridal show at the IX Center in less than perfect weather. You braved those wintery roads! A beautiful winter day in Cleveland!!

We look forward to doing this show every year because we meet so many wonderful brides and this year was no different. We had the opportunity to meet so many of you and we look forward to working with you in the upcoming year.

2008 was a great year for us and we were lucky to work with so many wonderful couples. 2009 is looking to be an even better year for us with again so many wonderful brides and grooms. I can't wait for this season.

I received an email from Melanie awhile back expressing interest in our video packages. Melanie is a good friend of Lauren and Jimmy Huffman who had a beautiful fall wedding last October. I love referrals!!

The first thing I noticed about Melanie was she was a fellow JCU alum. Go Blue Streaks!

After going back and forth via email we finally connected over the phone to discuss Nate and her wedding. After a minute of talking with Melanie I new this was a great couple and I was so looking forward to the wedding. Melanie was telling me all about Nate and how he would retuning soon from a 15 month tour of duty in Baghdad, Iraq. I could hear the excitement in her voice and I new this was a special couple. Needless to say I was looking forward to capturing their special day. Not only was it taking place on my old college campus and Melanie's, but I knew it was going to be a beautiful day.

The day started off overcast and slightly drizzly but by the time 3 o'clock rolled around it was beautiful sunny June day.

Melanie glided down the aisle of St Franicis chapel on the arms of her father to be greeted by an excited yet slightly nervous Nate. As the couple said their vows sunlight streamed in through the beautiful stained glass windows of the church and bathed the couple in a beautiful glow of sunlight.

Photo's were taken in the chapel and then all over campus. John Carroll has beautiful campus with so much potential for photographs. I recommend it to anyone who's looking for a unique spot for photos.

The Rain was not enough to dampen the spirts or the smiles on Kristen and Stephen's wedding day, a day Kristen had organized and planned for months, maybe even years. Wearing a dramatic white gown, the crystal details on the bodice and train sparkled like the raindrops outdoors perfectly setting the tone for their classic wedding. Bridesmaids in black dresses carried a rainbow of pink roses up the marble aisle of St. Gregory the Great Church in South Euclid Ohio. The crowed stood and sighed as Kristen, on the arm of her father, met her groom Stephen at the altar. The sun attempted to peek through the stained glass windows of the church as Stephen and Kristen said their vows. Following an exit with mass amounts of bubbles (and maybe a few rain drops) we accompanied Kristen and Stephen to The Cleveland Courthouse in downtown Cleveland for formal pictures.

After numerous emails with Kristen over the months, I was very excited to capture her wedding day. Such a sweet couple, with a fun and energetic bridal party I was eager to get to the reception at La Vera Center in Willoughby Hills Ohio and capture what was sure to be a fun night. A touching toast by Kristen's father said it all, "She'll always be my little girl" and the guests eyes welled up with tears. Followed by another sweet moment characteristic of this sentimental couple, Kristen and Stephen presented their mothers with roses which they couldn't do during the ceremony. Obviously in love and brimming with happiness Kristen and Stephen danced their first dance to Amazed by Lonestar. Dancing, laughing and lots of fun ended at midnight. Cinderella and her prince charming left the hall to honeymoon (and live) happily ever after.

Greetings,

I'm excited to announce we've have updated our wedding website! We have aimed to make it more efficient and user friendly by adding an improved video player and a Screening Room where clients can go to view sneak peaks of their wedding video. All this just in time for wedding season to begin.

Our corporate site is scheduled to be redesigned as well and should be up by the start of summer. A much need makeover on that end.

In other notes, I'm excited to be getting wedding season 2008 in full swing. I'm always excited to meet new couples and share in their very special days. I'm looking forward to new venues, new wedding ideas, and fun videos! Each couple is unique and so is each video, which also helps make my job so much more fun.

In the off season, we at T-Star Productions have spent our time taking classes, refining skills and developing new techniques to incorporate in our videos.

Elegant. What a perfect word to describe Lisa and Bryan's November 24, 2007 wedding. Lisa wore a beautiful gown with sparkling crystals complete with a cathedral length train that just sparkled next to Bryan's Navy Blue Air Force dress Blues. What a stunning couple. The two wed in an intimate ceremony at Kent State University's Parish Newman Center surrounded by close friends and family. Family was a big part of the entire ceremony from bridesmaids all the way to altar boys who were Lisa's nephews. A place that held many memories for both as they both went their for college.

After a beautiful and touching ceremony the couple celebrate at the elegant Todaro's Party Center in nearby Akron Ohio. The couple served an elegant and delicious 4 course dinner.

They celebrated their night with very touching toasts from the Best Man who was also Bryan's father and Lisa's Maid of Honor, her sister Kandace. Both were choked up as they reflected on their memories of Lisa and Bryan. The two have been toghether for 9 years. There was a lot of dancing and celebrating at this wedding.

Surrounded by a big family, most notably daughter Riley, and lots of friends John and Heather exchanged a passionate kiss when Father Valencheck pronounced them husband and wife. Cheers, smiles and bubbles met them as they exited the church on their way to their reception at Casa Di Borally's in Willoughby Hills.

Candace called me one afternoon with one specific purpose for her and her fiancee's October 6th wedding in Northfield Ohio. She wanted a beautifully done Photo Montage Prsentation to be played at their wedding reception. The Photo Montage consisted of three songs; one featuring her childhood years, his childhood years and one of their courtship and dating years. Candace and Marshall chose their own music selections and I scanned and syncronized their photos to their music choices.

Since Candace and Marshall live in North Carolina we communicated through email and by telephone so that I could perfectly capture the essence of this special couple. Candace and Marshall played this video for all of their friends and family at their wedding. Candace wrote me these very kind words soon after about her Photo Montage.

I was very excited to film Mike and Missy's wedding. Mike has been a great friend of my brother-in-law, and I have met him several times over the years, so it was great to get an email from Missy's mom Darlene and I am so happy T-Star was chosen to document their special day.

Mike and Missy were wed on a (slightly) rainy day in September, however the small showers did nothing to dampen the happiness in the air. As friends and family filled St. Pascal of Babylon Church in South Euclid Melissa and her bridesmaids waited in the hummer stretch limo for their cue. Dressed in dark lavender dresses each of the bridesmaids made their way down the aisle. Mr. Fowler gracefully escorted his daughter down the aisle where Michael was waiting. As I watched this couple exchange vows the smiles on their faces couldn't be hidden.

Melissa and Michael's festive and fun reception was held at the La Malfa Centre in Mentor. The ballroom was beautifully adorned with tall centerpieces filled with purple and pink roses, and guests dined on a plethora of hor d orves, steak and chicken dinner and a mass assortment of desserts. The best man gave a very touching toast that I think really sums up this great couple when he said it is great to see two best friends get married. Melissa and Michael have such a great foundation to start their marriage as they were friends for years before dating.

I enjoyed filming this wedding because all of their guests got up and danced the night away as did they. Melissa and Mike really enjoyed the day they have been waiting their whole lives for, as did their guests and their videographers.

Congrats Mike and Missy!

Lost In This Moment With You

Gina and Ed have a country soul. When Gina and Ed submitted their song choices I was pleasantly surprised to see so many county selections. Sometimes when I edit wedding videos I worry that certain song choices may date or make the videos to "cheesy", but when I met the couple and saw how perfectly their wedding flowed, the video practically edited itself. Its rare that you find a couple that "are their songs" quite as Ed and Gina are. And I love how the music in their wedding video feels more like a Sound Track, than background filler.

The attractive couple wed on a warm sunny day in August at the Divine Word Church in Kitland followed by a reception at the Berkshire Hills Country Club (the perfect setting for this country couple)in Chesterland.

A great way to sum up the day and this sweet couple was done by their Priest during the wedding ceremony. He compared Gina and Ed's relationship to the making of fine wine (Ed is a Sommelier at the local Debonne Winery). The making of fine wine, like love and relationships (and a great wedding videos -ha ha) take time, patience, passion and commitment. Which is why I found it so fitting that in Ed's proposal to Gina he wrote her a long letter explaining his love for her and how it has grown over time and it was now time for her to be his wife. -Awww, very sweet!

Ed's beautiful proposal to Gina was displayed in a frame at the couple's reception for all of their family and friends to see. As I edited their video I became "lost in this moment" as well.

What a beautiful day for a wedding.
Gennafer and Steven's wedding day had the kind of weather most brides dream about for their June Wedding. The blue sky was sunny, the temperature was in the 70's and the air was full of fun and laughter the whole day through. They ordered the perfect day, and it was delivered.

What did Gennafer and Steven leave out of their wedding {or their wedding video package}? Nothing.

This couple planned meticiously and it showed. Gennafer's attention to detail was evident throughout the day. I knew it would be a beautiful show when I arrived at Gennafer's parents home and saw her dramatic silk satin Lazaro bridal gown with cathedral length train. A flair for the dramatic, Gennafer's cathedral length veil shimmered to match the platinum beading on the waist of her dress. Gennafer carried her grandmother's crystal rosary as her something borrowed and the new diamond necklace from Steven, given to her that very morning, was her something new. Her graceful, yet dramatic walk down the aisle was followed by a collective sigh from all of their guests. Steven and Gennafer were whisked away in a silver Phantom Rolls Royce driven by the two best men.

Following the beautiful ceremony, Steven and Gennafer went to Wade Lagoon for their wedding photos. With the beautiful blue skies as their back drop Gennafer, Steven and their wedding party smiled for photographs and sealed it with champagne.

On their to the Wyndham for a night filled with touching toasts, a sophisticated dinner and lots of dancing Steven and Gennafer stopped for a quick bite to eat in downtown Cleveland at a Hot Dog Vendor! The brides choice, I hear.

Friends and family danced the night away in the beautifully decorated Palace Ballroom of the Wyndham Hotel. Each table was adorned with silver candelabras filled with fuchsia orchids, hot pink roses and white hydrangeas. Votive candles and light blue sashes decorated the table tops aswell. Guests dinned on Fillet Mignon and Chicken dishes and sampled traditional Lebanese pastries and wedding cake for desert.

The night ended the way it began, plenty of family and friends surrounding the couple to conclude their Perfect Day. Congrats!

Sara's Smile.

When I think of Sara and Troy's wedding I think of family. Sara and Troy's wedding had a very nostalgic, vintage feeling, that reminded me of weddings of yester-year. Sara and Troy chose the beautiful and grand St. Christopher's Church in Rocky River for their wedding.

Beautiful bouquets of blue and white hydrangeas accented nicely with the bridesmaid's blue dresses. Sara's vintage style dress and veil were dramatic and yet classically beautiful as she and her father swept down the aisle. Sara and Troy's great attention to detail showed with the beautiful grapevine wreaths on the church doors. A great send off to the reception.

Lakewood Country Club hosted the reception, and guests were entertained by Sara's aunt as she magnificently played the piano during cocktail hour. Heartfelt toasts were given by the Sara's Father, the Maid of Honor, Best Man and Troy's Father. The bride and groom's first dance wast to the very fitting "Sara's Smile". The wedding party joined in a large circle and danced to the song "thats what friends are for".

As a gift to the couple, Troy's grandmother wanted to give them something that would make them remember this day for the rest of their lives. -She gave them their wedding video. Thanks Grandma! * Images by T-Star Productions *

Capturing Spring weddings are always exciting for me. The grass is usualy nice and green, the flowers have just been planted, everyone is briming with excitement as the weather warms and of course Love is in the Air. I was siting at my desk on a perfect spring afternoon when I received a call from a Paul. He and Karin were getting married in less than 5 days and they wanted to capture their ceremony. As I have often said, the ceremony IS the most improtant part of any and everey wedding, and especialy so for Paul and Karin.

At the Willoughby Hills Friends Church Paul and Karin exchanged heartfelt religous vows, surrounded by family and a close group of friends. A beautiful, poignant ceremony filled with spritual guidance highlighting their deep commitment joined Paul and Karin in holy matrimony. After the ceremony, we captured congratulations, good wishes and plently of hugs as the couple received their guests.

What is more beautiful than a Winter Wedding?
While many brides enjoy Ohio in the Spring time with the smell of Lilly's in the air or others dream of a Summer wedding with hot, humid days and nights, still there are many who love Autumn with the colorful leaves on the ground... but it takes a very special Bride to see the beauty that Winter truly has to offer. I personally love a Winter Wedding, as long as the roads are cleared, there is nothing as special or beautiful as a White Wedding. Wanda and Eric chose the picturesque setting of Holden Arboretum in Kirtland, Ohio for their ceremony on Saturday, February 17th, 2007.

Holden's peaceful country atmosphere provided a beautiful back drop. The stone fireplace cracked and filled the room with warmth and a glowing romantic light as Wanda walked down the aisle. As Wanda and Eric said their vows, the view out of wide windows behind them captured the snow falling peacefully to the ground. Surrounded by family and friends Wanda and Eric became Mr. an Mrs.

Their reception at Massimo's in Cleveland followed the ceremony and this couple and their guests came ready to party! Myself and my other videographer enjoyed this lively wedding and the great couple's special day. This couple chose the Silver Edition to complement their day. I focused on capturing the beauty of the atmosphere at the ceremony location, capturing the peaceful snow fall outside as well as the peaceful loving words spoken between the bride and groom inside. At the reception, I focused on highlighting the most significant parts, the couple's first dance, Wanda's dance with her father, the cake cutting and the exciting bouquet toss! This was such a great wedding and a fabulous couple! Congrats Wanda and Eric.

Today's Bride! 10% Bridal Show Special

T-Star Productions recently exhibited at the Today's Bride Bridal Show at the IX Center where we got to met lots and lots of brides, their fiancees and their moms and friends. I personally loved meeting all of you and getting to talk to you about what you are looking for in a videographer, such as myself.

I think its important for us to stay in contact with what couples are looking for in their Wedding Videographer. Many couples shared stories about themselves, their families and what they are looking for in their video. Each couple's story was different, each couple wanted different things, but all expressed that the reason their wedding video is so important to them is because after their wedding is over, and they pop in their DVD, that is the only way to see their wedding and actually re-live it again.

Most of the couples we met found our prices to be very reasonable, and our live demos to be nicely done. And when they didn't see what they were looking for, they asked, and I told them it can all be worked out. I and my videographers really want to personalize the day for you. We want you to pick out your favorite songs, have your family and friends be an active part of your video, and include photos of you as children and your dating years. We love ALL this stuff!

It's A Beautiful Day, is one of Jillann and Scott's favorite songs, and it also fits the theme of their wedding.

They had a beautiful, classic ceremony at The Federated Church in Chagrin Falls, followed by an elegant sophisticated reception at the Mariott Hotel in Downtown Cleveland. Jillann's mom called me one morning from Arizonna looking for a videographer for her daughter's upcoming wedding. The couple wanted to capture their elegant ceremony and some of the highlights from their reception. Excitedly I proclaimed, "That is our Silver Edition Package!" The Silver Edition Package worked out perfectly for Jillann and Scott because their ceremony was such an important part of their wedding. They took great care in the details and it went off without a hitch. I enjoyed filming their ceremony so much because the church provided such a romantic backdrop. They put their heart and soul into the ceremony (and each other) and it really showed.

The Marriott Downtown was the perfect backdrop for this elegant and sophisticated couple. At the Reception I focused on caturing the excitement of the Cocktail Hour, the Best Man and Maid of Honor's humerous and touching toasts, the Bridal Party Dance, which was such fun, and of course the cake! The Silver Edition worked out perfectly for them and as I watch it, I am pleased that this package includes ALL the most important parts of the wedding, with out breaking the budget!

It is not everyday that we at T-Star Productions get a chance to enjoy and capture such a beautiful wedding that was planned with such devotion to detail and meaning. I hope Jillann and Scott enjoyed their Wedding Video as much as I did

Ryan and Jolene

Congrats Jolene and Ryan!
Ryan and Jolene's story began with a call one evening from Linda, Ryan's mom. As she told me about her son's upcoming wedding, she began to tell the story of two young lovers, who met as teenagers, and somehow in this crazy world knew from the get go, that their love was real, and was everlasting. I was so moved by their story I couldn't wait to begin their Personal Photo Montage, and synchronize their photographs to music, to enrich their story.

Jolene and Ryan are a couple any professional in the wedding world would love to work with because they are truly in love, and it shows. I can't begin to explain how much I loved working with them. Jolene and Ryan were junior high and High school sweethearts, their love grew as they matured and on September 23, 2006 they, surrounded by their loving family and devoted friends, finalized their journey of love that began years ago.

Jolene looked transformed in her white and ivory wedding gown as she griped her cascading bouquet of white roses as her father lead her down the aisle at their outdoor ceremony at Tom's Country Place. (We nearly beat the rain that looked like it was about to pour all day). Ryan and Jolene tearfully exchanged vows, staring into each others eyes they emphasized every word of their love for one another. They sealed their promise with a passionate kiss. But, what I remember most about their beautiful Autumn ceremony isn't the moments that all their guest saw, it was their secret embrace after the ceremony concluded, when they were alone; Ryan and Jolene hugged and kissed and proclaimed with excitement and just a hint of relief "we did it"! It is something that makes a videographer like me sigh thinking "awww, how cute"... and how special.

Indoors and out of the rain, guests dined on delicious food and drinks. Ryan and Jolene lovingly danced their first dance to You and Me by Kenny Chesney. Guests danced the night away having so much fun, everyone hated to see this beautiful evening end.

To conclude the evening Ryan and Jolene waved goodbye to their family and friends as they embarked on their new life together as husband and wife. I recollect now on their beautiful celebration of love, commitment and friendship. Fall's bounty of love certainly shows with Ryan and Jolene. Ain't love grand. :)

Mark and Michelle

I first met Mark and Michelle through a previous client and her best friend, Taryn.
I was so excited to film Michelle's wedding at St. Williams Church in Euclid, with a reception to follow at LaVera Party Center in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. Michelle and I got to know each other at Taryn and Michael's wedding and I felt so honored that she chose T-Star as her own videographer.

After our consultation I learned the most important things that they wanted me to capture on their wedding day. An unusually calm, but excited bride, Michelle made it easy for me to get behind the scenes and capture her and her bridesmaids as she prepared for her walk down the aisle. Knowing how close Michelle and her father are, I was moved as her father gave her away. Mark, perhaps more nervous than Michelle, unknowingly had his boutonniere upside down through the entire mass (ahh, Hello Best Man -Where R U? -lol). However that did not mar the beautiful smile on Michelle's face the entire day. The crowd of family and friends that gathered to witness their nuptials sighed in unison as the 2 very cute ring bearers made their way together down the aisle.

Mark and Michelle were greeted warmly as they exited the church with gobs of bubbles and cheers. Congrats to the happy couple!
